a Real Lady of Recovery! Melva made her transition into the next
adventure Tuesday morning, April 5, 2011, at about 1:00 AM.
My life is far better for having known her.
I'll
miss her deeply. Potluck and Memorial Service was held Thursday, April 7, at 6:00 PM next door to Bonanza AA Club at 341 FM 1713, Whitney. Over 60 people attended! It was a beautiful service for a beautiful lady!
Over 60 people came to celebrate her amazing life!
Karen fixed the place up with lots of flowers!
Then, we went to Serenity Point to spread her ashes! Everybody helped!
Melva didn't complain about the walk at all
It was the prettiest sunset ever! Fitting for Melva!
Yep, God was there... in full regalia!
Melva's Ashes made the trek!
Did I mention that everybody helped with the farewell!
Sad moments of great lives!
Melva and God are both quite photogenic!
An anomaly in the sky shot past just as we finished... as if to say, "There goes Melva!"
And, as if to punctuate the experience, out came a chessure cat moon, letting us know that Melva made it! She's arrived at the next adventure and happy to be there!
